But the process of buying a merchandise from across the border was never easy. We are here to disrupt the cross-border trade and make it just as simple as buying the products locally.

Karavan Platform has a full set of tools and services to support cross-border sourcing:
Find suppliers, negotiate prices and payment terms
Based on your request with product description and required quantities we engage our local platform representatives to find a suitable suppliers, get thier product offering with initial pricing quotes. According to your instructions they will conduct the negotiations to get the best prices and volume discounts.
Сontracting and ordering
The platform allows you to sign a Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with the local Sourcing agent on a standard terms who will buy the products from the supplier for you locally and then re-sell it to you internationally via platform. Back to back order placing process is fully automated to make the procurement process absolutely transparent for you.
Quality control and shipping
Quality and quantity control of the products delivered to the cross-docking facility is crucial to get refunds or replacements from the supplier in a timely manner and prior to shipping the order internationally to the destination country. We work with a pool of reliable and cost efficient transportation companies to deliver the products to you.
Customs clearance
Export clearance, VAT re-imbursement, import duties and tax payment and forms processing is done by the professionals who work in collaboration with the supplier and the transportation company to allow seamless and timely customs clearance procedures.
Payments
Having a payments flow in both direction to and from the country of supplier and the buyer allows us to save costs on currency conversion and execute payments rapidly. You always pay in your local currency and at the exchange rate set by the central bank at your home country on the date of payment.
Payment terms optimization
Advance payments may become an issue and significanlty impact a working capital and slow down your business while banks are reluctant to finance the cross-border purchases. We can buy the product from the supplier based on 100% advance payment and re-sell it to you based on 10% to 50% advance payment terms while you will pay the rest of the amount upon recieving the products in your home country
One-Stop-Shop Service
All of our six services can be used independently or combined into service bundles upon the needs of your business. You can use Karavan platform to automate the sourcing process end-to-end starting from submitting the product requirement until receiving the products in your home country and paying in local currency.
